Credit Builder Loan

The Fresh Start Credit Builder loan was designed to help our members with little to no credit. This loan program helps you to focus on building (or rebuilding!) your credit score to help give you a brighter financial future.

How does it work?

The money you borrow will be deposited and held in your NEWFCU Savings Account while you make the monthly payments. Our loan officers are also certified financial counselors, so they have the tools to help you plan your budget and offer other recommendations to build your score. Once your loan is paid off, the money you borrowed is released for you to use it as an emergency fund or to make a purchase – the choice is up to you!
